3D-printers are a good example of how quickly things can become available some initially very expensive technology. Just a few years ago for the purchase of such a device it had to say goodbye to a few thousand dollars.
And Spanish company Lewihe introduced 3D-printer with the straightforward title Play, which costs only 69 euros. The device is already available for pre-order on the company’s website, and deliveries should begin in August.
One of the main features of the device – the printer is shipped disassembled and collecting apparatus, the user will not be able to use it. The fact that the package does not contain Play several major components. The list of components that have to buy, is quite extensive. Among other things, it contains an external power supply, screws, bearings and even 624zz motors Nema (the full list can be found on the site).
Thus, the cheapest call novelty of 3D-printers, in fact, impossible, as Lewihe Play – this is only a basic kit to create the finished product.
With regard to the characteristics of the product, the printer uses the technology fusing layering (Fusing Deposition Modeling, FDM). Its dimensions are 210 x 210 x 250 mm. The device works with plastic thread thickness of 1.75 mm.
