In cooperation with Google-Lenovo develops the first smartphone with OEM technology platform Lenovo Project Tango, which mobile devices provides the ability to move through the physical world in a way similar to what humans do – in a 3D manner.
Lenovo today at CES 2016 announced the first mobile device with Lenovo Project Tango technology, and to develop a Chinese company in collaboration with Google. It will be available this summer and will be driven by Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The screen on this smartphone turns into a magic window that can transfer digital information and objects in the real world. Lenovo, Google, and Qualcomm Technologies are closely together to optimize the software and hardware and to help users get the most out of the platform Lenovo Project Tango.
What are the Lenovo Project Tango by Google?
Lenovo Project Tango Google’s technological platform that uses advanced computer vision, a sense of depth and motion tracking to create a 3D experience on the screen, allowing users to explore their physical environment with the help of your device. Specialized hardware and software are connected to the device react to every movement of the user, forward, backward, or when tilted to the side. Developers of applications can transform your home in the game, or create a magical window into the virtual and augmented environments.
Devices that allows Lenovo Project Tango platform can identify the places where the users already like living rooms, offices or public places. Unlike GPS, Project Tango monitoring movements carried out in confined spaces, allowing users to precisely navigate through the mall, or even finding specific items in the store where the information is available.
