Why do you need to perform hard reset Kindle Fire HD?

5. Once you deregister your tablet from Amazon account, you need to go back to Settings menu.
6. Next, choose “Device” section.
7. Then select the last option “Reset to Factory Defaults”.
8. Click “Erase everything”.
9. The tablet will be off. Then hard reset Kindle Fire HD process will begin. Wait until reset will be completed, after which you can re-configure your tablet.
